Belgrado live in Jakarta
, / 28 September 2016

Grieve Records and WHMH Records are presenting music that’s colder than any winter in the world, Belgrado. The post-punk unit from Barcelona incorporates the pure 80s guitar-based post-punk with the attitude of Anarcho Punk and the darkness of Goth Rock with traces of dub and minimal synth also strong basslines coupled with simple drumbeats. Belgrado have kicked a massive curl up into the international darkwave/post-punk circuit with their latest album Obraz. Their graceful minimalism craves less assault and more meditation. Obraz proves that there’s more to Belgrado than the bonds of punk. Think of the early Polish post-punk depression, but with a more danceable touch.

Some local bands will support their performance such as Eerie from Yogyakarta, Barbars from Jakarta and Dystopian Dog from Bandung. Show will be held in Rossi Musik – Fatmawati on September 29th, 2016 and starts at 7 pm. You can buy the ticket at the door for 40k Rupiah.
