Three Buns is more than just some buns and patties that you’d crave for. This Jakarta and Singapore based burger club has a creative oddity that most burger brands don’t have. Fresh off its last year’s successful collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood, Three Buns has joined forces with cult illustrator Fergus Purcell a.k.a Fergadelic. Their mutual taste occupies the release of some graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories in one savoury capsule collection.
We’ve seen Fergadelic’s drawings on everything from Palace Skateboards to Marc by Marc Jacob. Now he has created original graphics for a limited series of Three Buns merchandise. Influenced by his obsession of motocross, the English illustrator dishes out a Wilfred bulldog as an edgy new look to Three Buns’ mascot.
For a feast of the new collection, Chef Adam Penney from Three Buns made a personalized burger inspired by Fergadelic’s vegetarian lifestyle. The Moto Burger delights in 120g beef patty, fried tempeh, cucumber, bread and butter pickle, cabe rawit, scallions, coriander, BBQ sauce, den miso mayo, kecap manis glaze and lettuce in a rice bun. While to balance the special taste of the burger, take a sip of the tropical classic pinacolada called Fergalada.
You can find the delicious capsule collection only at Three Buns pop-up store in Jakarta, starting April 29 and Three Buns Singapore on May 6.
