Potato Head Launches New Line of Merchandise

A new range of specially designed merchandise – striking, wearable art promoting the company’s island home of Indonesia – is now available via Potato Head’s new website.

The playful series comprises shirts and t-shirts with with more items, including special collaboration edition footwear, to be added in the near future. Each piece is made with ecofriendly, sustainable fabric and features thoughtfully designed tropical motifs. The designs and illustrations were created by the in-house creative team of Potato Head Family and channel the tropical spirit of Indonesia with a nod to classic Hawaiian prints.

Legong dance aloha shirts, a modern take on the traditional Balinese legong dance, were the first designs to be produced, and inspired the rest of the collection. Available in white silk and blue or black rayon satin, these bold, exotic pieces spearhead Potato Head’s distinctive line, capturing the vibrancy and mysticism of Indonesia.

Also to be launched in the first drop are music collaboration t-shirts, which were created to mark a special Potato Head x Bear Mezcals x Sun Down Circle event, fusing the worlds of mezcal, music and fashion. With more international collaborations in the pipeline, fans can look forward to further merchandise releases and limited-edition designs throughout this year.

The new line of merchandise is available for purchase via the brand’s online shop, as well as Potato Head Hong Kong’s retail space and a pop-up store at Potato Head Beach Club. Prices range from IDR 300,000 to IDR 2,200,000 with 10% of the proceeds from each order going towards Merah Putih Hijau, a Bali group committed to improving the island’s plastic waste problem by empowering and educating local communities to recycle. Local and international shipping is available.
