Paz de la Huerta: The Birds Didn’t Die over The Winter
, / 28 June 2013

Paz called Alexander Carr, the photographer, one spring morning to tell him that she had heard birds outside her window, saying that the birds had survived an abominable winter. It was somehow the perfect metaphor for this artbook filled with photographs of the Latina actress. The book was made after an unstable period in her life resulting straightforward yet fearless and sensual photographs of Paz nude in the bedroom or at the streets playing some scenes from movies concluding in emotions such as love and loneliness. We can also see an old soul in Paz which we don’t often see in actresses these days.
