Old Friends X Napa Valley Staveboards
, / 24 June 2016

What comes to mind when you hear the words Napa Valley? Well, wine is a good guess and while skateboarding might be the last thing to associate with the California region, Andrew Cole is making cruiser skateboards from wine barrels called Staveboards.

Napa Valley native Andrew Cole is one of Old Friends’ old friends and he’s been making handmade cruiserboards using staves from recycled wine barrels. The barrels themselves use strong, aged Oak wood which is very strong making these Staveboards a sturdy and rigid ride while still preserving that wooden board feeling and providing a nice pop for riders.

The limited boards come complete with Old Friends X Spitfire 80HD wheels, Thunder trucks, and Spitfire bearings and you can get them through Old Friends.
