Google Pixel Smartphones
/ 21 September 2016

Originally slated for launch on October 4th, the Google Pixel smartphones have made headlines with leaked images from both the Pixel and Pixel XL variants, giving some strong hints as to what to expect. Now, we have both Apple and Android fanboys here at SUB, but these Google creations might just tip the balance in favor of an entirely new direction.

These photos below reveal that the new Google smartphones will feature an aluminium finish with the expected 5-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL featuring the same sensor layout. HTC will manufacture these phones but will be branded as Google Pixel just like the way they did with Nexus phones.

It’s said that on the day they drop it’s also expected that Google will release a range of other products including, potentially, a virtual reality headset, a 4K Chromecast and an AI personal assistant device.

We still have a fortnight of anticipation before these phones come out but for now you can head on to Google Pixel for more information.
