Masamune Shirow’s famous anime, Ghost in the Shell, got its name rising again. Why? Because Rupert Sanders is making the adaptation movie based from the 1995 anime and manga series. The story is about Major Motoko Kusanagi, a special ops human cyborg hybrid who leads an elite task force, Section 9. In this movie, the Major’s role will be played by Scarlett Johansson.
The first official trailer is finally out and it surpised many people, especially the devoted followets of the anime series. The new trailer in turn combines scenes from the original animated Ghost in the Shell movie Innocence and Stand Alone Complex. Even some people have made the comparison version of the trailer!
