Ok, so we’ve all seen the Alien saga including the so called non-official prologue to the saga, Prometheus but the new induction to the saga, Alien: Covenant breathes new life into the cult favorite with sheer nostalgic power.
This Ridley Scott sci-fi horror flick drops a brand new trailer just a week after releasing a short-but-oh-so-sweet trailer on to the masses. Sources say that Alien: Covenant’s story revolves around the crew of the colony ship Covenant, who discover an uncharted paradise that turns out to be more dangerous than they expected.
The trailer showed scenes from the movie focusing on forest terrains, something that is new to the franchise, as well as providing a closer look at the Xenomorph and the new Neomorph, a variation of the classic alien. Alien: Covenant will act as a direct sequel to Prometheus and is set before the events of the first Alien movie from 1979. Michael Fassbender returns as a synthetic android named David; a less advanced android based on a previous model in Prometheus. The film will hit theaters on May 19.
